UPDATE for February 14th, 2012

The launch window started off with a bang, with multiple substorms and skies filled with aurora in just the second night of the window. The aurora proved to be too much after all, and was far too dynamic and active for our science conditions. So we got a pretty nice show all night, and kept on our toes for launching, but it never quite got off the ground.
